When To Get This Service
Follow these mileage or time intervals to keep vital systems cool, clean, and corrosion-free.
Recommended fluid-replacement schedule:
- Brake fluid — every 30,000 miles or 2 years (check your manufacturer’s recommendation), and whenever brakes are serviced
- Transmission fluid — flush every 45,000 miles or 3 years for smooth shifting, or as recommended by your manufacturer
- Power-steering fluid — change every 30,000 miles to protect the pump and rack
- Coolant/antifreeze — replace every 30,000 – 50,000 miles, depending on climate and OEM spec

When should you change your transmission fluid?
To protect your transmission and ensure smooth operation, we recommend a transmission flush every 30,000 miles.
When should you change your brake fluid?
Depending on the climate you live in, we recommend replacing brake fluid every 24,000 miles or every two years, whichever comes first, as well as any time your brakes are serviced.
